When I was shopping for this car I knew I wanted a premium luxury automobile at an affordable price. It had to be something that I knew would be reliable and it had to have a pristine interior. I decided on a G35 in the $11,000 price range. Given my price I knew the car would have higher mileage (approx. 120k) but given the great reliability of the Infiniti I was ok with this. I began looking at cars for sale in my price range and after the first five I became concerned. Every vehicle I had looked at had an interior that had clearly not been maintained. Fortunately I looked at a sixth car at Infiniti of Charlotte. It was about to roll over to 130,000 miles. Ran great, had clearly been cared for, and fortunately for me was loaded with options. I purchased this vehicle about two years ago. Since then I have done and logged the maintenance on the G35. All of the fluids were replaced during my ownership of the car. The oil was changed regularly using mobile1 and a PureOne filter. The automatic transmission fluid was changed, the cooling system was flushed, the brake fluid was changed, the differential oil was changed, ect. I knew when I bought this car that they would last a very long time if maintained. Since I did not have service records on the car I wanted to be 100% sure that everything was taken care of and there was no question as to when to do the next fluid change. I bought this car planning to keep it until I was done with my college degree and did everything possible to ensure I did not encounter any costly problems by meticulously maintaining this car. However, college is proving to be very costly and I could use this money to put towards tuition. Everything on the car works as it should. It now is approaching 155,000 miles. I used this car to commute from home to school and often between Charlotte and Greenville, so many of my miles where highway but I cannot speak for before my ownership. The exterior of the car is in good condition. It does have a couple dents and dings but is overall still quite nice. The interior is in excellent condition for its age, the leather has been maintained with Leatherique, 2-3 times per year. There are no tears or breaks in the leather even in the highest wear areas.
